Anticipated to open in the Fall of 2023, this 4.3 acre standalone dealership in Wichita is one of the first of only 20 to open nationally. While Hatchett Hyundai East currently sells Genesis vehicles, this would be the first standalone dealership for the luxury brand in the city Hyundai Motor Group. J.D. Power recently named Genesis, owned by, Top Premium Brand in the 2022 U.S. Initial Quality Study (IQS). Not just any standard dealership building will suffice for this show-stopping brand.

Unlike most dealerships, Hatchett Genesis doesn’t want to tuck the service area out of sight, but rather, wants to display it proudly. Large glass walls will be installed between the sales floor and the service area to keep lines of sight open. This presents a challenge, as the nature of the work can mean work surfaces get dirty easily. There are 10 service bays, a wash bay and a detached full-service car wash, as well as an EV storage room and several EV(electric vehicle) charging stations within the building and on the site.

Integrated Consulting Engineers rose to the challenge by finding creative solutions, like making sure the entire building, including the service bays, are climate controlled with industry leading building systems, controls and equipment with a focus on client comfort. They also used LED lighting, which reduces maintenance costs, improves light quality, and saves energy.
